I found Robert Johnson

Book, Robert Johnson: Lost and Found, finally arrived in the mail. I knocked out the first 4 chapters right off the bat and let them simmer in my mind. I buy most of it so far and note that they, the writers, are asserting, though in a humble way, that they are diffusing the re-imagination of the Robert Johnson canon, which is wrought with tainted influence by the former hyperbole of past writers. By doing this it seems that they are implying they are striking into new ground I don’t disagree with their assertions but I also notice nothing new that Elijah Wald has not already threw in the mix with his book Escaping the Delta. I will have to get that book out again to see if they are treading any new ground after I have had time to finish and digest their thoughts. It is well written and a joy to read thus far.
More to come later.
